BBASS is always pleased to welcome new volunteers. The Co-ordinator will explain to you how the service works and discuss with you the time and skills you have to offer.

If you wish to proceed as a volunteer you will be asked to complete an application form. Following this an interview will be arranged, references sought and a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check requested.

Once you have been accepted as a volunteer, you will spend time with your Co-ordinator learning the processes for Befriending or Advocacy and getting a feel for the role. When the time is right your Co-ordinator will match you to a client in your local area and introduce you.
